Good Guys Loitering out in Madsionville

MADISONVILLE, OH (FOX19) - Make sure to show your support on Thursday, August 26 for the Good Guys Loitering in Madisonville. The group will be out at the corner of Whetsel and Bramble Avenue from 4:00-6:30p.m.

If you're unfamiliar, Good Guy Loitering is just a bunch of neighbors and friends hanging out on a street corner that has struggled with bad behavior. They get there before the bad behavior usually starts and hang out long enough so that those folks have to make other plans for the evening. It's not confrontational (in part, because the "bad guys" never show up and there isn't anyone to confront). There are grandparents, children, and pets that sit with us.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Blue Ash police officer arrested for drunk driving earlier this month appeared in court Wednesday.

Jason Lobenthal was pulled over August 7 in the 3200 block of Erie Avenue in Hyde Park after police say he was swerving. He refused a Breathalyzer test.

He is also charged with menacing for an incident with a woman earlier in the day.

He had another pretrial set for Sept. 10. His attorney, Mike Allen, says they plan to take the case to trial.
