Nearly 2,000 lose power after Hamilton Co. equipment failure
HAMILTON COUNTY, OH (FOX19)- Some Hamilton County residents were in the dark on Tuesday afternoon.
Duke Energy reported just under 2,000 homes were without power, as of 5 p.m.
Officials said the outage was caused by an equipment failure at a Hamilton County substation.
Duke crews were able to restore power in most homes by 7 p.m.
