CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)- The second of two women was in court on Friday after police say they
bypassed security at Withrow High School, and then one of them
assaulted a student.

According to a police report, Precious Allen, 31, and Dawn Brunner, 28, entered the front door of Withrow, purposely passed the security system, and entered a classroom, where Allen proceeded to punch and kick a student.

Allen's daughter, whose name has not been released due to her age, joined in on the assault, striking the victim in the face. The victim suffered visible injuries to her face and body but is expected to be okay.

On Friday, Brunner pleaded not guilty in court to criminal trespassing charges, and was ordered to stay away from the school. Allen was arraigned last Friday, with bond set at $26,000. She is charged with felonious assault and aggravated trespassing.

On Monday, Police Chief James Craig said a security officer assigned to the school was in his office at the time, rather than at his post. Craig also said the officer was not with Cincinnati Police.

"This could've been a tragedy. Someone giving another person access to the school, and let's say it's an armed suspect that got into that school. We could've been here talking about a real significant tragedy, so it does concern us," revealed Craig.

Craig said he's had conversations previously with Withrow High School about security measures they should be taking.

Allen's next court appearance is Tuesday. Brunner is scheduled to be in court on February 28th.
