Largest Kroger ever to anchor 'Oakley Station' project

OAKLEY, OH (FOX19)- The largest Kroger Marketplace ever is coming to Oakley.

Oakley Community Council president Peter Draugelis tells FOX19 that a Kroger Marketplace will anchor the new Oakley Station project.

The Kroger will be about 30,000 square feet larger than the average Kroger Marketplace, and will be the largest one ever built.

An official estimated opening date has not been announced.

Oakley Station is the 74-arce mix use development near Target and
Meijer that will also include office space, 302 residential units and a
14-screen movie theater. Olive Garden was originally planned to be included in the development, but the restaurant is not opening any new locations after weak stock prices.

Draugelis added that the Hyde Park Kroger will remain open.
