Spending Mega Millions prize may be no easy task

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - If you should happen to win the upcoming Mega Millions jackpot, and your goal is to use up all the money as fast as possible, you might want to move out of town.

If you are simply determined to dispose of the money, that's no problem.  You could donate it all to a leading university or hospital.  You could gamble it away around the world.  You could give it away a million at a time to people you met in bars.  If you asked a luxury shipbuilder to use it all on a yacht, they could oblige you.  You could buy the City of Cincinnati a streetcar system.

Chabot drives U-Haul to Washington

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Steve Chabot seems determined to maintain his reputation as an opponent of avoidable spending with his return to Congress today.

The past and present congressman blogs that he drove to Washington Tuesday in a rented U-Haul truck.

His office tells us he didn't bring his 1993 Buick to Washington.  That's the car he featured in a campaign commercial several years ago after opponents ran a commercial characterizing him as a Republican elitist.  The Buick will stay at home in Westwood.  Instead, in Washington he is driving a 1994 Chevrolet that he inherited from his adult son when his son got a new car.

Chabot says he is thrilled that his longtime colleague John Boehner has become speaker, and that Boehner arranged for the U.S.
